SoWa’s outdoor-market season still has more than a month left.

The SoWa Open Market returns to the South End Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing local makers, artists, food vendors and food trucks back to Harrison Avenue and pedestrian-only Thayer Street.

Admission is free.

The market runs every Sunday through Nov. 15, so October is one of the last stretches of the year to catch it before the outdoor season ends.

This Sunday’s lineup includes live music from Matt Koelsch, while Mayflower Brewing and High Limb Cider are also part of the Oct. 4 brewery and cider lineup.

The useful part is that the market sits inside the larger SoWa Art + Design District, surrounded by artist studios, galleries and shops.

That makes it easy to browse the outdoor vendors, grab food and keep exploring the neighborhood without turning it into a full-day plan.

If you drive, Boston parking meters are free on Sundays, but resident-only zones, no-parking signs and other restrictions still apply.

Paid lots are also available nearby.

The market is within roughly a 10-minute walk of several MBTA stations, including Back Bay, Tufts Medical Center and Broadway.

SoWa generally operates rain or shine, although extreme weather can still affect the schedule.
