Boston’s opening pipeline is stacked heading into fall. Here are three spots currently on the way.

In Seaport, Happy Rice Sushi is targeting an August 28 opening at 53 Boston Wharf Road, taking over the former Yoki Express space. The fast-casual sushi concept is built around grab-and-go combinations, including Benefit Boxes with nutrition information.

Over in Allston, Tom Yum Yang is expected to open August 20 at 156 Harvard Ave., according to the Boston Globe. The restaurant will focus on Thai barbecue, charcoal cooking and regional street food.

Beacon Hill is also getting Harry Hare’s, a British-inspired alehouse and restaurant taking over the former Beacon Hill Pub space at 149 Charles Street. An early fall opening is planned.

This is exactly why Bzzpost is starting Coming Soon.

No five-paragraph hype every time someone hangs a sign on a storefront. Just the useful stuff:

What’s coming. Where. When. And what you need to know.

Opening dates reflect current plans as of August 14, 2026 and may change.
